Usage is the AI work NorthernPlus does for you, such as qualifying leads, AI calls, and questions to Kate. Each plan includes a monthly amount of usage, and higher plans include more: Plus has 10 times the usage of Free, and Pro has 5 times the usage of Plus. In NorthernPlus you see it as a percentage of your monthly usage, with the date it resets. Your plan's usage resets each month and does not roll over. Capturing leads, receiving forms, and email never count toward it.

Some AI work takes much more usage than the rest:

• AI calls and lead qualification use the most.
• Scoring a lead, smart search, and email drafts use very little.
• Capturing leads, receiving forms, and email never use any.

In NorthernPlus you can see your usage by feature, so you know what is using the most.

Only AI work counts toward your usage. Even at your plan limit, and on every plan including Free, these keep working:

• Capturing leads from your website and forms
• Receiving completed forms
• Sending and receiving email
• Your contacts, boards, and history

If extra usage is on and you have a balance, AI work carries on using it. Otherwise AI work waits until your usage resets, you buy extra usage, or you move to a larger plan. NorthernPlus warns you at 75%, 90%, and 100% of your monthly plan usage, and a new lead is never lost because you reached your limit.

A seat is one person on your team who signs in to NorthernPlus. Free, Plus, and Pro each have 1 seat. Team Plus and Team Pro start at 2 seats and go up to 150, and each seat adds to one pool of usage the whole team shares. For more than 150 seats, talk to us about Enterprise.

The Free plan is the trial. It includes the core features and enough usage to try it on real leads, for one person, and you do not need a card to start. Upgrade when you need more usage, more seats, or an add-on such as calling or a custom domain.

Enterprise is a custom plan for larger organizations: usage sized to your volume, a custom contract, more than 150 seats if you need them, and a dedicated account manager. Talk to our sales team to set one up.

Yes. You choose monthly or annual billing when you set up billing, and annual billing costs less per month than monthly billing. You can switch later in Settings, then Billing. Switching to annual takes effect right away. Switching to monthly happens at your next renewal.

Extra usage is available on every plan, Free included, and it is priced in dollars.

Extra usage lasts 12 months from purchase and is used only after your monthly plan usage runs out. With a saved card you can turn on auto-reload: by default, when your extra usage falls below $5, NorthernPlus adds $50.

You can set an optional monthly spend limit on extra usage. Extra usage also has an on or off setting: turn it off and you stop at your plan limit, with no extra charges.

Add-ons are available on every paid plan and bill with your plan, on the same monthly or annual cycle. Each costs $5 a month. AI voice calling and phone calling bill per seat, a custom domain bills once per business, and extra phone numbers bill per number. Either calling add-on also gives your business one shared business number, at no extra cost.

Yes, at any time, in Settings, then Billing. An upgrade takes effect right away, and you pay a prorated amount for the rest of your billing period. A downgrade takes effect at your next renewal, so you keep what you paid for until then.

Cancel any time in Settings, then Billing. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for, then your account moves to the Free plan.
